Delete your Tutti account
This page explains how to delete your account in Tutti, the family organiser app by Youssef Merhi, and what happens to your information when you do.
Delete it in the app
- Open Tutti and go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete my account.
- Read what will happen to your family, type delete, and tap Delete for good.
If you have not joined or created a family yet, the Delete my account button is on the welcome screen instead.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
No longer have the app?
Email privacy@tutti.family from the email address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We may reply to that address to confirm it is you. Your account will be deleted within 30 days, and we will tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your login and email address.
- Your profile in your family: your name, photo, birthday, school and health details.
- Your check-ups, documents, and the places and reminders that are yours.
- The chat messages you sent, including your messages to the family assistant.
- Everything you marked Private.
- Your “just me” notes, and the error reports linked to your account.
What is kept
- Things you added for the whole family, such as a shared calendar event or an item on the shopping list. The rest of your family keeps them, without your name on them.
- If you are the family’s only head, the adult who joined the family earliest becomes the new head, and the family carries on. If there is no other adult, the whole family is deleted, with all of its information and photos, for everyone in it. The app tells you which of these will happen before you confirm.
- Children’s accounts: when a child with their own login deletes their account, their login, their chat messages and their Private items are deleted. Their parents keep the family’s records about them, such as check-ups, vaccinations and school. A family head can delete the child’s profile from the family at any time.
How long anything remains
- Photos are removed within minutes.
- Backups: deleted information can remain in our daily backups for up to 7 days, until they expire.
- Service logs, which can contain short extracts of messages, are kept for up to 30 days.
- Messages the family assistant handled are deleted by our AI provider, Anthropic, within 30 days. The exception is a message its safety systems flag, which Anthropic may keep for up to 2 years.
Delete some of your information, not your account
You can delete individual items in the app at any time: an event, a check-up, a document, a photo, a note. A family head can also remove a member or delete a person’s profile.
For anything you cannot do in the app, email privacy@tutti.family.
